Breastfeeding is often thought of as something that comes natural to all mothers, and basic breastfeeding education is often left out of Childbirth Education classes. The truth is, that although breastfeeding IS natural, it does not come easy to many women. At MotheRetreat, we understand the struggles of being a new mother learning how to latch their baby, or those of the working mom who has to figure out how to pump to get back to work right away. We are here to guide and educate all women during their breastfeeding journey, and make sure that they feel confident and at ease with obstacles that may arise.
Each lactation process is very unique and personal, there is not just one solution for every problem. Which is why in order to best serve each mother, we as Breastfeeding Counselors will help to identify the specific problem that you or your baby is facing, and develop an individualized plan to correct it.
The postpartum period can be a very sensitive time for all mothers, and having an easy and gentle breastfeeding relationship can significantly reduce the stress put on the new mother. Our goal is that your breastfeeding journey is one that works for you and your needs, as well as your baby’s; and is as easy and stress-free as possible. We want to help you reach your lactation goal of 6 months, one year, or beyond!
Contact us to set up a time to meet with one of our experienced Breastfeeding Counselors today, and put your mind at ease. We want nothing more but to make you feel comfortable and to help your needs as a new mother!
